I LOVE the 4th of July and I especially LOVE fireworks! So you can only imagine how excited I was when I learned that the town we are staying in has been voted the top 3 in the nation! Actually, Addison has been "Rated one of the top places to watch fireworks in the country by the American Pyrotechnics Association, USA Today, Travel + Leisure and The Wall Street Journal" Pretty cool huh? So needless to say I was super pumped to see this show. After losing tons of sleep with Harleigh being sick the past week, this ended up being our front row view...
We were both so exhausted that we decided to watch the show on tv from the comfort of our hotel room. After further thought, we realized we could see the glow from our hotel room window and even hear the music being played. Not quite the same but it was an amazing show anyways.So that was last night and thankfully I had today off to spend with Harleigh and Rob...and to catch up on more sleep. We decided to explore the city a little. Unfortunately we only made it two stops because Harleigh wasn't liking the heat but on those two stops we discovered the Dallas Heritage Village and the Dallas Farmers Market. I'm pretty confident the farmers market is my absolute favorite place!!
